THE APOSTOLIC RECORD

The Apostolic Record is an independent forum for apologetics, Scripture, history, and evidence. We examine the claims of the apostolic movement and the Christian tradition in light of the earliest available sources, with particular attention to the historical, linguistic, and textual foundations of the faith.

The Editorial Method

The Apostolic Record examines theological and historical claims through a disciplined evidentiary method. Each inquiry begins by identifying the claim and establishing the governing authority, then examining the primary evidence, hearing contrary witnesses, distinguishing evidence from interpretation, and subjecting competing conclusions to cross-examination. The record must then be reconciled before a finding is issued. No witness may simply erase another witness, and no conclusion—including our own—is exempt from examination.
